Self evaluation #2
This semester, in Spanish One Honors, I have learned many things. I have learned to speak in complete sentences and describe many things. My favorite thing that I have learned, is how to talk about food that I like, and how to order in a restaurant. I have also sharpened my Spanish pronunciation, and have improved my accent as well. I have begun to learn speaking this language
through practicing speaking and pronouncing Spanish words as well as writing them. The informal writings that I have completed in class during this semester have also helped me by allowing me to write creatively. I am learning Spanish to further understand the challenges that many immigrants in the U.S. face, concerning language barriers. Learning this language also helps me to communicate with other Spanish speakers, and helps me learn about Hispanic culture. I have come very far from the first day in Spanish, when I could not not read anything or understand what my teacher was saying. I now can respond to many questions that I am asked in Spanish. I also can understand many thing that i could not at the beginning of the semester.

During this four and a half weeks period, I have learrned many things in Spanish 2 Honors. I have learned a lot of vocabulary and things about Hispanic cuture. In class we watched a movie about a Puerto Rican family who moved to America; this opened my eyes to Hispanic culture and traditions.
Another thing that I learned is how to implement important grammar concepts in my Spanish speaking. Throughout the class I have learned how to speak more fluently and have begun to understand what I hear as a response. Grammar is important to me, because English is very complex and it is hard to put it into Spanish when I am accustomed to a different and more difficult language. I now know how to talk about the past and my childhood as well as talking in the present or about the future. It has become easier for me to read in spanish because I am very used to seeing and hearing what I am reading now.
I have learned much from Spanish class, and will be able to use these skills in the real world every day.
